Good lord, I go away for a few hours and this thread went downhill fast....

 

It really would be healthy for some of you guys to back away from the keyboard, take a breath, get a drink, be thankful for life, and enjoy all you have instead of arguing so much about this. Someone has to win and someone has to lose. Whomever is the winner we'll get through it.

I tend to think that passion should be reserved for sexy times with significant others and not online arguing which usually ends with someone getting in trouble. ;-D

Have driven through Zapata a few times.  Fast-growing population area, or was.

Speed trap all the way on U.S. 83 from McAllen northwest to Laredo.

Literally cop, sheriff, and CBP cruisers every quarter-mile or so.

 

Not far from Falcon Dam and a couple of border crossings.
