Hotels near London Embassy

Hey guys...

I tried, really I did, to search the threads for where I say postings about cheap hotels near the embassy in London but I'm going blind. So I thought this would be easier... If anyone has any suggestions we'd appreciate it cuz Crash may need need one for when he goes for his medical and probably will get one for the nite before the interview.

I did a search on hotels.com and found a few and actually a cheap one near piccadilly circus so he may park the car by heathrow (since he's coming up from devon).. but if we could find a cheap one that allows for parking that would be sweet...

I think the rate was pretty decent and he had his own bathroom. Rebeccajo also has a hotel suggestion that she liked, I can't remember the name of it now though

I stayed at the Thistle Hyde Park, reasonable rate but parking is expensive anywhere in London. Just make sure not to drive thru the Congestion Zone which starts around the Marble Arch area, not far from the Embassy.

I personally flew down and used the tube and returned same day. Wasnt too bad and probably as cheap as driving and staying over.

Thanks for the advice guys but now Crash's friend arranged to do some business in London that morning so he will drive him in.. nice huh?

Very nice! James has family friends in London (we stayed with them on our visit 3 years ago) and was hoping to stay with them but that fell through...I'm glad something like that worked out for you! Definitely good to save money where you can in this process.
