How long does it take for Social Security Office to send back original docs?

So there was an error with my replacement card and I sent out a request (a few days ago) through ss-5 and with it are my original docs: Drivers License and EAD card...

I was wondering how long it will take for them to send the ID's back? I need the driver's license to drive around and I don't think I can be taking any more uber rides! 😅

For future reference, you only needed to send your EAD card for status verification and identity.

 

Ok, Never mind, says you need two original documents.

 

 But, it also says if you are older than 12 years old, you need to be interviewed.

I called their hotline and they told me to send those with the SS5 form... i doubt they'll be doing anything in person because of the Covid19...

Crazy, we just had to send my husband’s in last Friday since his social security card never came in the mail. Waiting to get them back. Good luck, hope it’s not too long of a wait.

Oh I forgot to update it. We got our docs back after like 3 or 4 working days.. then got our card the next week
