I-745 C9 Adjust Application

I’m a F1 student. Do I need to submit my I-20 if I pick the C9 as my category on the I-745

Are you applying for an EAD (I-765)? On what grounds are you adjusting status?

there is no 745 form

Yes I mean form I-765 EAD. F1 student -> married to US citizen and applying for EAD Category C-9 instead of C3B OPT.

No, the i20 has nothing to do with the application

I did just to be on the safe side.

 

I am not even on a F1 Visa any more. I was on F1 during 2003-2009, and have been on H1B during 2009-present. I submitted everything I had that showed my legal presence in USA since 2003.

 

Just out of curiosity, why don't you want to submit your I-20?

I didn’t say I don’t want to submit it. I didn’t know if I need to submit it because the instructions doesn’t state anything about it except when you apply for OPT

I included my I-120 just in case just to further prove my legal status while I have been living here. I don't believe it is required but there's really no reason not to include it.
