Filed it y'day now I can see the following TWO facts, how to understand them?

Estimated case completion time : December 2021 (12 months)

Estimated wait time: 4 days

Where do you access the case status that shows the estimated case completion time?  When I log in to my USCIS account, it shows the info in the first screenshot below (no estimated completion time).  The other case status link (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do) shows the same info (shown in the second screenshot)  

 

I just filed my application online yesterday so not sure if it takes a few days for the completion date to show up or not?

You will find in on your online case status in a couple of days from the filing. Keep checking. Today I am able to see my receipt notice also on my online account.

Case completion is when the whole thing is scheduled to end.

Estimated wait time is the time to the next step (i.e to biometrics, then to interview...)

Thanks! I checked this morning and it shows my completion date to be October 2021. I’m hoping it will get done sooner than that as I have a vacation planned for the end of November.

Are you sure about estimated wait time? My case just updated this morning and now it shows my estimated wait time to be 4 days. I imagine that since I just submitted my application the next step would be biometrics. But I don’t have my appointment letter yet. 4 days is a pretty quick turnaround to receive mail and have to drive to the ASC for the biometrics.

1- both these days are very arbitrary and unreliable now due to covid

 

2- the estimated wait time is the time till you get an update to the next step. So normally if you see 4 days left, it means in 4 days you should have an update on when your biometrics appointment is scheduled. Which is usually the time it takes in normal times. But because of covid many people who filed even in March never received their biometrcis' appointments yet.

If there is an issue after the wait time expires then you should see "we are taking longer...". The 4 days is not the expected date of your biometrics, but the date you should expect an update to the next step of your case (i.e appointment letter). Normally biometrics is 2-3 weeks after you get that notification email. But again due to covid this isn't always reliable.

Gotcha. That makes sense. Yeah, I’m not expecting a quick process with everything going on. Even prior to COVID we knew not to trust the published processing times through all the applications we have filed

Not sure what you mean exactly but there is no set pattern on getting appointment dates so not sure how anyone can tell you which filing dates exactly are receiving biometrics appointment letters at this time. It all depends on how busy each filing location is.

There would be a pattern, If we know which date filers are getting Biometrics appointments in November & December we will have a rough idea when the later people will get the appointments.

At each filing location it would be in some sequence. Its not like they will send Biometrics Appointment letters randomly.

If there is one word to describe the USCIS processing order, it is random. I’m sure you’ve experienced it before with some of your other filings. Just browse through the other monthly threads and you will see folks who have submitted their applications months after some others are already done with the entire process while the others are still waiting on biometrics. You have a better shot at winning three consecutive PowerBall jackpots that you would trying to get a pattern on USCIS.

USCIS don't have any sort of algorithm to set particular dates for a certain portion of an immigration benefit... If you've got to the point of filing your N400 you'll know that nothing about USCIS is orderly. It's random, it's a waiting game. Each case is different to the next, you could file your case from the same zip code as someone else, on the same day. Their case might take 6 months longer than yours OR 6 months quicker than yours.

Yes I know all that. Every case is different, every location is different, big cities have more immigrants, covid, there are many parameters etc etc. Been there many times but thats not I intended to ask though. 

My question which I might have worded incorrectly my bad or the wrong thread to ask, is did anyone got the Biometrics Interview from this Thread of Nov2020 Filers or any date filers. So the people who might have received the Bio from this thread/Nov2020 filers or any previous filers could respond.

My question is did anyone get the Biometrics Interview from this Thread of Nov2020 Filers or any date filers. So I am waiting for people to respond who might have received the Bio from this thread/Nov2020 filers or any previous filers. 

What is the point of getting responses on who might have received biometrics appointments out of the Nov 2020 filers? What good is that going to do for you, knowing all well that their dates and timing of events will have absolutely zero impact on your case or anyone else’s? What you’re going to end up with is data that is absolutely worthless to your case. You are not going to find the magic bullet you are looking for.
