Won't apply to us anyways since we filled before December, but I think it won't matter regardless. This is because if you are prepared, you should be good. I can see both sides though. It will just take longer to go through the interview and extends backlog for other applicants...

02/02/2018 Interview date!

02/08/2018 Received Approval texts and messages (I-485 Approved - I-130 Approved the day before)

02/08/2018 Card Was Mailed To Me. Total of 80 days from PD.

02/27/2018 card returned undelivered to USCIS + Placed Service request to resend the card

05/03/2018 Card was Delivered to me.  Took 63 days wait period.

 I am ready to file on the last day of this month.

Looks like I had an edge over avoiding the new Civics test system.

I will be eligible to file my N400 on OR later to 11/30/2020 (the last date to file the old Civics test filers) 🙂 Also I am still on the edge to pay the non-increased fees due to the court order on jacked up Trump Fees 🙂 Just done online filing updates,.. a push of button away for filing my N400 on the noon of 11/30 🙂 lol

That's awesome!  Good luck with that and make sure your uploads are visible after the submission.

In my case, everything disappeared, so I re-submitted everything afterwards.

I doubt the fee increase will take effect anytime soon especially under the Biden administration.

I have a [silly] question. Did any one of you tried to input your IOE receipt number in any case tracker app/uscis website wherein you just received a statement saying it's invalid? I'm trying to put my receipt number in my phone's case tracker app and it won't recognize it. Same thing happened when I did at USCIS website. Is that supposed to be normal for online applications? Or am I supposed to wait for the snail mail letters?

However, by the end of the day it worked and was recognized in the old site case status and in an app tracker as well.

Did you just apply?  If so, just wait and it will work.

I am not happy to share this horrible mistake made by USCIS but I want everyone to be careful  as follow-

I filed My N-400 on 6/9/2020 based up on IR Spouse of citizenship being qualified 3 years of PR that allows me file 90 days prior to my 3rd GC anniversary. and I had an interview on 11/12/2020. I passed exam but 2 weeks later My N-400 denied because I filed early and reason being given by uscis was issuance date on GC was not correct ( It should have been 1 month later as per USCIS)......  Uscis Explanation as follow -

 

Your permanent resident card indicates that you obtained immigrant classification CR1 on September 2, 2017. However, this information is incorrect and you should have received immigrant classification CR6 on the actual date of approval on October 2 2017. 

 

so be careful when you file N-400 based up on spouse of citizenship.
