To all Vjer's who was been interviewed... One question being asked by the consul was what is your educational attainment or what are you up to in college???? I just want to know if Do I need to have credentials in my school that I earned my Bachelors Degree?? like diploma??? I didn't have my diploma yet, due to my tuition fee balance and i haven't pay my year book and they don't release it unless I paid all my tuition balances. Is it necessary to have my diploma with me during the interview? Please let me know....Thanks in advance.

I was asked in my interview what was my occupation, but they never asked me for a paper that confirms my degree.

I saw in my folders (the one the pre-interviewer and the CO was holding) that they have my profession/occupation written there (Physician). They did not asked me about it. What they were concerned was about me and my husband's relationship and financial records of my husband. I did not bring any of my diplomas/school records during my interview. Also in the DS-230 forms, they already asked for the educational and work history, but I had my PRC ID just in case they asks about my occupation/profession.

Agreed - I think that it has more to do with them wanting to know what you will do for a living kind of thing. I am planning to bring in my degrees with me to the interview because I am insane and obsessive, but they do not even ask for them in any of the packets. Don't worry over this - education has no relevance in family based immigration.
