Second interview

Hello everyone! happy Friday!
So after almost 19 months of administrative processing, my fiancée and I have received an email today asking him to come for a second interview after we inquired about having our case expedited. However, the issue is that they have set up the interview for next Thursday which is like less than a week, and they want him to bring a documentation and I am not sure if he’d be able to obtain some of these documents like the medical examination and police certificate in less than a week. Does anyone know if it would be possible to obtain a police certificate and medical examination in less than a week? Also, should he just go to the interview even if he doesn’t gather all of the documentation? And then send it over to the embassy once he does.

Yes this is quite possible. Call the prescribed medical provider now to make an appointment for the examination,.

Presumably the police cert is for the location where your fiance currently lives, and he should go to the police station with his national ID.

If it is for a location in a different country where your fiancé lived years ago, then I suspect this isn't possible, but try to do it online and see what happens.

If that's what the embassy decides. It might want a third interview.

I hope they do not ask for a third interview because we don’t have much time left until I am due to give birth.

@Mike E thank you so much for your replies to my questions.
I did in fact email the consulate back and they said it would be okay to come to the interview without the medical examination and police certificate. That we would just have to send it in after the interview. They also gave us the option of coming at a later date if it would be too much pressure on us. We are just going to keep the date for next Thursday. And see what we will able to come up with until then. I hope they don’t give my fiancée too much trouble and that as soon as we are able to get all of the documentation to them that he will be able to get his visa. Praying and hoping for the best.

Well, my fiancée went to his interview. But was missing the medical exam and police certificate. I am pretty sure it has reached the embassy by now but how are we suppose to

know for sure that it has or hasn’t... so now we are just waiting again!! It’s really draining. I am due to give birth  in about a week. And am so stressed as to how I will take care of 2 kids under 2 by myself.
