Extending the vailidity of K1 petition

I'm curious about extending the vailidity of the petition. Some unfavorable things have arised for my fiance and I, and we don't think we'll be able to get everything prepared in 3 months. Our approval date was August 6, 2020 and it's almost November. How do I go about asking for an extension? Right now there are no updates since September 15 when the NVC got a hold of my petition.

There are I-129F petitions that have been sitting at the NVC since last spring.  Many consulates are not even conducting K-1 interviews at the moment.  I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I also say, no worry's. You are at least 8 months from the visa interview.

Oh ok, thanks guys. I kept thinking that even though everything was closed that the k1 would still expire, regardless. That's a huge relief, we're not in any rush 😊

No worries ours has expired twice already😅😅
