REF and redo the I-846 form

Hello

I got a REF of I- 846 today. They want documents of W-2's, 1099's, etc…but here is situation. My husband(US citizen) is a freelance since January of this year and we graduated the college last year September and he just worked for one month for company. When I sent the files, I submitted all of his tax files of last year which is one month. We have joint sponsor(his mother). I send all of documents about her.

They said if my sponsor is self-employed, he must submit W-2's, 1099's, etc… I think problem is that we checked that he is self-employed as a freelance on the I-846 form. Did we check it wrong? we should have checked he is unemployed since…?

Do you redo the I-846 form and send it with same tax files?
