We were told to stay home to flatten the curve.  We did that.  Now, we need to stay home because... well, we listened the first time, so why not do it again, for no reason?

Went out to eat twice yesterday.  Both times, did not wear my mask when I entered, waiting to see if I would be asked to.  Nope.  No one said a word.  Not even an evil look from the seated (the position where 'Rona is unable to get you) diners as I walked to my table.  Everything was copacetic.  And I infected exactly zero people.  Win win.

You have no idea if you infected anyone because you don't know if you have the virus. Furthermore you have no idea if anyone you encountered has infected you.

I am still wondering where the explanation is from Dr. Fauci regarding the fact that deaths from and with the Vid have been flat since early April.

What is "from and with the Vid"?

Whatever you think it is.  The simple fact is that deaths have not been tracking infections like they were in March and April at least here in the US.  There have been a few studies done (one posted in the Covid thread), but I still have the question as to why Dr. Fauci is not communicating this information.

Actually, I do.  I know that I have not gotten sick since all of this started.  Tomorrow is another day.

Unless you have a test that says negative, then you do not know whatsoever. As said before the asymptomatic people walking around thinking they are invincible and without a care to others around them can do quite a lot of damage.

We had to have a distribution plan in place for Nov 1st, but they told us most likely end of November before we actually get any. Still not sure how much. The most recent thing I heard is nursing home staff and residents will likely be getting the first doses. They have the highest risk of spread/cluster infections and also the highest risk of serious complications.

The outcomes do seem to becoming much better. But.. I know someone that received many different treatments and none had any real effect. They are many months now in the hospital, body completely destroyed, but still hanging on. The game changer in their survival seemed to be transfusions and a few other unusual therapies they are NOT trying a lot yet. Ultimately I don't think we know for certain what drug or combination of therapies can be the 'gold standard' for every patient in improving their survival. Some people just don't make it, but how they reach that point can be a very long agonizing ride. I don't know if it's something unique to the each body, or the virus itself. When I say this person has survived, I must stress they are in a state now, where they wish they hadn't, because of what this virus has done. That's hard for the patient and their family to cope with.
