K1 visa applicants living together

Is there any aussies or others out there living with their fiance already while applying for the K1 visa?

My partner is on a student visa and we live together in Sydney Australia. She is applying for a post grad visa to work here for next year.

I would just like to hear your story on the process with your affidavits and submitting evidence of a relationship and what difficulties or handy info you'd like to share!

I know many people are going to tell me to apply for the CR-1 visa and i've looked into this process extensively and my partner and i have come to terms that this doesn't fit well with us considering her family cannot attend the wedding here in Australia and this would cause quite a bit of tense which is something we'd rather avoid. I am fully aware of being unemployed for nearly up to a year and we will be financially capable of supporting this. I have also looked into the states driving policy as well and loads more!

Please share any other info that could be handy rather than the CR1 visa route.

Thanks so much!

I am not aware of Australians having relationship evidence issues. Seems you have loads anyway.

Well, if you want someone from Australia, processing like you to answer it would be best to post this in your regional sub-forum. Go to the blue ribbon above, select "forums" then scroll about three-fourths of the page down and select the region that most represents where your country is located.
