Hello everyone

Tomorrow it’s been 90 days since my local ASC (Providence) reopened. I’ve yet to receive my biometrics appointment, so I’ll be calling USCIS to have them raise a request. I understand that once this request is raised they ask the ASC to provide a rationale within 30 days as to why the appointment hasn’t been made.

i know a few of you have raised this type of request already - what was your experience? What (if anything) did you hear back and how long did it take? Are you still waiting?

thanks! Hope you’re all holding up okay, the state of inertia is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced!

You will get the same messages like below

1) You are in queue

2) You just have to wait

3) 90 days does not mean you will get expedited. they are processing your request

Not much can be done unless you have an emergency

duh

Filed: AOS (pnd) Country: Canada
Timeline

I asked the Emma agent if I was receiving any notices like biometrics or I-944 RFIE. Nope. Application submitted Aug 27. PD Sept 1. ASC is San Jose California, reopened more than 90 days.

The agent gave me the link to raise a service request for biometrics. I filled out the form and the message said it hadn’t been long enough and that a service request may not be created. I have no idea how to tell if one was created or if I should keep trying to resubmit. Also I thought it had been long enough that I could raise a service request.

Select "Did Not Receive Notice by Mail" and you will get a service request number. I submitted one and was told this morning to wait till the 18th of November. If I don't hear anything, call again 😪

My experience.
It has been more than 115 days since my local office is open, my NOA1 is May 26 and I still don’t have a bio appointment. I did open a service request through a USCIS agent on the 90th day, 25 days ago, and zero response until now.

Good luck!

  • 2 weeks later...

I submitted my AOS documents under

K1 status last April 23 2020 until now i did not receive my biometrics notice.I kept calling USCIS and each time i am calling different answers i am getting. Some will give me hope,Some will just make me feel more depress. Before one info. specialist told me my papers were on normal processing times which is 10-17 months then last week another representative told me 10-23 months. Every time I will ask for service request i just get more depressed. Other representative told me also that EAD processing time should be within 4-6 months.I told her but i still dont have my bio,she kept saying it was different so if they are different why until now i dont have it? I dont have anything 7 months of waiting and Its very stressful. Then someone i knew just submitted August her AOS and already got her EAD.. before that her documents were rejected a lot of times then now luckily she had everything first.

Even my application for social security number too i submitted twice already and still they cant provide me .. First time( Feb. 2020) ,I was not able to receive it,when i followed up they said might not be mailed to me so they asked me to resubmit again all my documents. Then when i resubmit ( June 2020) everything,i kept waiting again and when i followed up Sept 2020 they informed me again they cant give me because my i94 was expired. As if it was my fault. So now I cant have my SSN not until i have my EAD(work permit) to show them.

All these processes are stressing me so much and are very mentally draining.
