Hi,

We've got NVC cases interview topic, so as per helpful suggestion - here it is topic for expedite cases.

Just wondering if anyone here has been recently expedite with their CR1/IR1?

I've been expedited on 20th Oct and my vase has been with London Embassy since 22nd October. I've managed to register to courier and visa schedulling website. However, I do struggle with finding any one slots :(  Currently there is only one day for first week of Nov, and to be fair it's been like this since I've started checking it.

As far as I'm aware DFC cases still scheduling their interviews. Is there any 'rules' with opening slots on the interview calendars? I would appreciate if someone can give any advise on it.

The group of London DCFs have a topic going in a different forum. (1100+ comments) Their hold up was getting the embassy to assign them an LND number. They skipped NVC so no LND assigned there. Without the LND, they were stuck from moving forward with the next online processes. They waited months.  I believe the very last one of that group to get the LND already has an interview date.  So the bulk of DCFs on Visa Journey are pretty much done with the calendar. Of course, not everybody is on VJ.

CR1 application, DQ 10 July 2020, expedite request 21 October 2020 and no response yet.

Already having a slight panic that I'm going to have a challenge to find an appointment. Equally, we might just receive our initial non-expedited appointment before our email request gets any attention at this rate.

It's honestly not much fun doing it :(  I've been looking for interview since 22nd with no luck.

Thats what I’ve figured, hence why I think we will end up getting a date in our non-expedite batch instead, might be easier that way too!
Can definitely u detest and it’s no fun, wishing you luck to find something very soon!!

We received the confirmation of receipt email yesterday (October 27th, 20:27 GMT)

"We are reviewing your request for expedited processing of this immigrant visa petition. We will notify you with the results when the review is complete."

The turnaround between submission of expedite request, to first response seems to be in keeping with your timeline of 4-working days, @Dags - thanks for the insight!! :)

Fingers crossed!

Our email request was acknowledged today, 29 October.

We continue to wait.

Hope everyone has a good day today - good luck in the search @Dags

that's a good sign! fingers crossed you will get a positive response.

And thanks! no luck so far! I even contacted the embassy but to be fair not much help from their side:

Thank you for your email.

Appointments are booked through the Visa Appointment Service, not by email. You may wish to check the appointment calendar periodically for any newly released appointments or cancelations. However, as the calendar operates in real-time, we cannot guarantee an appointment on or before any given date. This is one reason why we advise all applicants against booking tickets or making irrevocable travel plans unless they have received their passport containing a valid U.S. visa appropriate for their purpose of travel.

Doing the best they can I suppose - it's such a challenge.

I'm hopeful you'll find something soon (and give me some tips on what might be best to do if I have to as well! 🤞)

Prepare to be REALLY patient. Still not slots available. Hoping there will be some after weekend since new month is about to start

Really hopeful for you to find something soon.

I'm hoping to get my allocated appointment next week in the newest batch and see if there's any negotiation that I can do since I've expedited 🤞
