Hi Everyone,

I’m new here and I do apologize if my questions have been asked before. I am the principal applicant of an F11 Visa sponsorship (unmarried son of a US Citizen) and I have submitted all the documents to NVC (dated Oct 15) - although not DQed yet. I have a few inquiries and would really need the help from those who are in the same situation.

1. Is the USE in Manila currently holding interviews for my Visa Category?

2. If yes, what is the average waiting time for me to get scheduled an interview?

The reason for these questions is because I currently do not live in The Philippines and will need to take the time off from work and travel to Manila when the interview is scheduled.

Thank you!

Your category is under Presidential Ban, you won't get any update maybe next year.

I am aware of the travel ban but I have also heard that USEM is still conducting interviews? Correct me if I’m wrong.

It isn't a travel ban.  It's a visa suspension for F1 and other visas.  They will not schedule interviews.
