Sent Nov 3, USPS says delivered Nov 7th.  No notice yet.

You should be seeing your notice this week. Typically, they are running about 30 to 45 days with a notice.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Country and Visa Type: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RyJiLo_7WTmqvkzXXqLuOlVHm9oyhAES/view?usp=sharing

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Hey, wouldnt all our embassies be from America if we are filing this?  Or do you mean the fiance's?  Also, I think I tried filling it out but couldnt find the country.  It is Curacao but the closest option seems to be Netherland Antilles.  Not sure if they are all grouped in there.  If I'm from Georgia, my service center is Texas, right?

I reviewed the Curacao US embassy website but it's very confusing where you will interview. I did find contact information. You may want to follow-up with the embassy to determine where you will interview. Unless of course you already have that information.

If you wish to contact the NIV Unit about your visa, please send an email to NIVCuracao@state.gov. The Consular Section cannot discuss cases in which a visa application was refused.

Your service center is California (CSC).

Ah, I'm nowhere near the actual VISA step yet.  I'm still waiting for the NOA1 step (37 days now).  Also, my timeline for some reason says Armenia for consulate, no clue how to change that.

I have a short gif that I walk you through how to change. Look up a few posts and see my instructions on how to change. It's very simple once you know where to start.

Hi All,

I have submitted my K-1 visa application (I-129F) to USCIS PO Box in Dallas, Texas on October 31th. USPS tracking system shows the package is received and signed. However, by now (Nov 22th) I have not heard anything from USCIS. The G-1145 form is filled and attached along with the entire package, but I didn't receive any text or email at all. The filing fee is not cashed out either. I have emailed to lockboxsupport (lockboxsupport@uscis.dhs.gov) regarding this issue, but I only received automatic response email from them which is not helping.

I just saw this youtube saying K-1 visa is not processing due to pandemic. I am wondering if anyone is having the same issue like me.

Thanks,

Hi- I’m still waiting as all. Aus post confirmed I-129 arrived 6 Nov and I still haven’t received NOA1 or charge to my card. Have you received yours yet?

cheers

Same for me - they received our 6 nov and still no word. Have you heard?

Please allow me the courtesy of pointing out some shortcuts that you can use to better attain information and being a good citizen of this community. We all have gone through a learning curve such that you are.

First, here's some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG post that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1krDA5e93LXA3JbzBl8Zo-pvBjpNlLJam/view?usp=sharing

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name and select their name. If it is done right, you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MDRnqzVsqYuInL1iSIyuxaMOj52yDAxb/view?usp=sharing

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote. (using your example, you were making a comment and a thank you so the way you presented yourself is fine.

Next, we need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

And finally, Normal processing of the issuance for a NOA1 is about 4-6 weeks. You are earlier in your expectations. A couple of key factors to look for is 1) has your tracking indicated the package was received? 2) Has your form of payment been executed? Having those two completed then you are close to receiving your NOA1.  USCIS is notorious about not sending an email notification even with a G-1145. Most don't receive an email but it's not typical not to receive a NOA1 or NOA2 by snail mail so keep an eye out for those. If you are beyond six weeks you should call USCIS customer service.  Good luck and stay engaged in the process.

Thanks

If you're waiting for your NOA1, USCIS is running way behind on the issuance of said document. Don't be concerned, alarmed, anxious, disappointed or any other adverb as they will be there shortly. A delay in the NOA1 is not going to affect you in anyway except it will take longer to adjudicate your case to a NOA2.

We haven't heard anything either. Checked October's thread and some from October's last week are now getting their NOA1, so I'm hoping this week will be our turn. *Fingers crossed*
