You put the date they put on the NOA

i would just make a note in the timeline regarding the delay

By the way, I wanted to update my timeline and I can't... it says

"Time between when a petition (ex: I-129F) was mailed to the USCIS and the NOA1 (Notice of Receipt) may be too long. NOA1s (the date on the form itself) should be within eight weeks (max) of the date you originally sent the form to the USCIS."
It's not relevant anymore...

The NOA1 date is the "received date" marked on the notice, not the "notice date".

Mine was received at the Dallas lockbox on November 23rd. They cashed my check earlier this week. I went through an attorney so the notice will be going to my attorney and they haven't received it yet with the WAC# and such. If you go through this thread, a lot of folks that submitted in late November are starting to hear back from USCIS, so you should be hearing back as well soon (fingers crossed). Only issue now is they're going through a snow storm in Dallas now and power outages so I fear that they may be slightly more delayed now.

A BUNCH from late November and early December were processed (as in assigned a WAC#) last night and today. November 27 to Dec 11 is what I have seen the most of today.  Hope you hear soon!

Hello. Where is that information found? I’m still waiting. Delivered 24th November.

Searching the Case Status Online. I learned to do it from a post here on the Nov thread - like around page 6 maybe? I don't remember exactly but if you read through the posts you'll find it :)

If it was delivered on the 24th it was probably in their Nov 27th "received" pile so you should hear soon. I will say, though, that sometimes a few seem to fall out of order.

There isn't quite a total standstill - all of these I-129Fs have been processed this week:

On January 12, 2021, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC2190024009, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.

On October 30, 2020, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC2190024039, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.

On January 19, 2021, we rejected your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC2190024225, because it was not filed correctly. We mailed your case back to you, including any supporting materials and fee.

On January 14, 2021, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), Receipt Number WAC2190024976, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case.

They are definitely going really slowly for majority of I-129Fs with receipt dates from late October onwards although a few lucky people with November/December/January receipt dates have received NOA1 already - I wonder if these are expedited cases or faster for another reason.

it makes no sense that people who have filed in Jan have already received NOA1 but i'm going on almost 3 months and still nothing. This is sooo frustrating but i guess we can only be patient. I do have a question how does the WAC number help if it really doesn't give you information other than the date it was received. What i am saying how would i know that it was my application?

You won't know if a WAC# you see is yours until they give you your WAC#. The only thing looking through CSO will do is provide a little insight into where they are. *Most* of November does seem to have been processed now and they are into December. And yes, there are some out of order. I assume because the pile they pull from isn't as orderly as it could be. Some January have been processed, but someone else on here pointed out that these could be RFEs. Not many seem to get expedited but I guess a few could be. Or someone started working on the wrong pile in the office

Yesterday I saw a bunch of Nov 27 "received" get assigned before a batch of Nov 12. Then more Nov 27. Then Dec 11. Then Nov 27. But it's a government office. Do we expect it to make sense? I suspect you will be hearing very soon. Fingers crossed for you!

NOA1 notice date is February 9th.
🤔 what date to see as the one where the actual process begins from?

The receive date is where the process begins. So your NOA1 should be nov 12

Good morning everyone!

I finally received my receipt number. I spoke to a live agent via Ask Emma and they gave me the number. They asked a few questions and found me in the system. My delivery date to the Texas lockbox was Nov. 24th. I’m on my way!!! Lol

How did you manage that because when I call its like impossible to get an agent on the phone.

I ask for a live agent and the ask Emma robot hangs up 🤦🏾‍♂️
