For those who do have their case numbers; did you receive an email or even a letter to let you know at about the same time you called?

It takes 30-45 days from NOA2/USCIS to the NVC and then another 5-10 business days before a case number is available. "your mileage may vary" As I see it, you're too early to be concerned as you just past the 30-day mark from your NOA2 

 

You will receive a letter with your case number but not until your file leaves NVC to your embassy.

Received Dec 18, 2015 USPS notification of successful delivery

Check Cashed Dec 21, 2015 Check was cashed

NOA-1 Issued Dec 21, 2015 NOA-1 for ROC issued

I called when I got mine. They told me 60 days as well I just waited another week and called again then got it.

Hello! I have not yet received any welcome letter from NVC (NOA2 was 11.9.20) but I did email the NVC and was sent my Case and Invoice numbers. I was able to log in with this information as shown in the image below. At this point should we proceed with completing the DS-160? Or wait until after receiving the welcome letter? I also don't when / where fees are paid as this login did not have much to go off of, but maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. Thanks in advance 😃

Wow, that is really great. Hopefully, ours will move along as well. We are also waiting for our case to be moved to embassy. They have updated in embassy website of limited visa processing and priorities given to fiance's of US citizens.

I got an email. I never called. Took 3 weeks.
