Sorry for the airhead moment! I just received my case number but I'm kind of confused as what to do next 😅 I know I can fill out the DS-160, is there anything else I can or need to do? What is my P3? Thank you all for your continued patience and help!

Those and many other questions can be answered in the PDF. Begining at the top of the page you will see a list of "What's Next" items. Have you used it to its fullest?

Hi all 😀,

Need help, I posted same question on "All Japan Fillers"  but, will post here as well.

@Greenbaum

I know multiple others has been asked same question about "Beneficially's addresses change" It seems like U.S. embassy TOKYO does send the instruction by "Mail or E-mail". I am going to fill out my DS-160 with new address, but I will be filling out the DS-160 before I receive my instruction right?

Does anyone have the same situation or experience as me?

Thanks in advance.

According to the PDF file on the first page the first post (it's there because the same questions get asked over and over, so I authored a "go to PDF" to instruct you as to what steps to take) it states that the DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application only must be completed at the time that you want to pay the MVR interview fee and schedule your interview appointment. It can be done today, or it can be done in 6 months from now. So, complete the DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application now and you have the other instructions for the next steps within Japan to move this process forward with paying your fee and scheduling the interview and medical exam. You are now in charge.

Here is some additional help in the form of the P3 from Japan.

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/53842-all-japan-filers/?page=94

Visit the Japanese thread with discussion on what to do to attain your visa from Japan.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

I have already submitted my DS-160, but now I realize that my passport expires in July... I assume that I have to renew my passport, but once I do can I just contact the NVC to change the passport number on my DS-160 or do I resubmit?

You can have the CO at your interview make the change.
