Hey @Greenbaum do you have the P3 for Morocco?

Thanks in advance!

Here is a collection of items that will be useful for the preparations for the interview. Keep in mind that this was pre-pandemic so don't be surprised if something has change. I doubt anything has but there is always that chance. If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy, once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share factual information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. I wish you much success in your visa journey.

  •  Once you get a case number, you can fill out the DS 160 online. Print the confirmation page once completed. Make a copy for your file and bring the other to the interview.
  • You cannot schedule Doctor's appointment till you receive notice from embassy
  • It's taking about 3 months of waiting to be able to schedule any appointments.
  • Do not do the medical too soon as the visa validity is based on the medical date. Approx. 6 months from date of that medical is the expiration of the visa. Your mileage may vary so check your visa once you received and make plans accordingly.
  • You complete 2 criminal reports (one of which expires in 90 days) obtain a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence.
  • The Embassy requires all documents to have an English translation along with the original Arabic

When you have your case number, enter it here https://ss.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things,  at NVC, In Transit, or Ready. Once your case shows "Ready" then you email the consulate and request an interview. Include your name, fiancés name, case number and that you're looking to schedule a K1 Fiancé Visa interview. I heard they'll email you back within 2 weeks or so, but some have heard back the same day that they sent the email.

When they email you back, they'll tell you when your appointment is. Attached will be packet 3. Includes a list of doctors to choose from for the medical, your rights and your appointment letter. At that point - just get your papers together. Usually, your fiancé gets the police records in a week. Court records same day. Celabecy letter same day. And birth cert in the same day. Once you have them, then dropped them off to be translated. Picked them up in a week. Already you're at 2 weeks for gathering the fiancés paperwork. On top of that make sure your fiancé sends you their documents (I-134, proof of relationship, taxes, pay stubs, letter from employer, updated letter of intent).

Here is the list of panel physicians used by the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca. Call ahead to insure they are still doing medical exams for the Embassy.

You cannot schedule a doctor's appointment till you receive notice from embassy it is taking about 3 months of waiting to be able to schedule any appointments. Do not do the medical too soon as the travel time must be completed within 6 months from date of that medical. You will also need to complete two criminal reports (one of which expires in 90 days). Obtain a Fiche Anthropometrique and a Casier Judiciaire from the Central Police station at their place of residence.

All documents submitted in support of an application or petition must include complete translation into English. In addition, there must be a certification from the translator indicating that the translation is complete and accurate and attesting to his or her competence as a translator. See8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) .

Hello dear,

Any news about US Embassy in Lebanon if it is processing K1 visa interviews?

Im waiting for my NOA2. Hopefully will get the reply on November 24.

Can I assist you with something? Your post is not addressed to any individual except "Dear". I consider myself a "Dear" and will help you with a couple of things to get you up and running on how things can work for you in a much better way.

1. Here's some tricks to use when answering and wanting to quote someone.

First, when you use the quote button, go into a LONG posts that you are quoting and if there isn't a need to have the entire post, just delete a small portion of it, but leaving enough of the original post so we can understand what you are replying to.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1krDA5e93LXA3JbzBl8Zo-pvBjpNlLJam/view?usp=sharing

Second, you can use the "@" sign in a blank reply box then begin typing the person's nick to bring up a list with their name and select their name. If it is done right, you should see a blue box around their nick like this @Greenbaum. When you use the @ sign you would use it in a blank reply and not a "+" reply.

3. We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Timeline: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RTx4pIFfcIXyW15L-nyLuBGzwqYRx5lI/view?usp=sharing

Country and Visa Type: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1RyJiLo_7WTmqvkzXXqLuOlVHm9oyhAES/view?usp=sharing

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

Third is just to use the "heart" icon and select "thanks". Don't really need to say thanks in a quote. (using your example, you were making a comment and a thank you so the way you presented yourself is fine.

2. To know the status to your embassy processing K-1 visas here is a website I recommend that you check. Check to see if your embassy is processing visas and which ones. If your results return 999 that indicates that they are still not processing that visa type. Your mileage may vary.

I hope I have been some help. Good luck and stay engaged.

Hello November people :)

NOA1: 2nd February 2020

NOA2: 19th November 2020

Congratulations.  At this stage you will have many questions.  I believe the first, what's next. Two things I recommend.  First. Is to read from the beginning of this thread up to today.  Second get a copy of the PDF from the first post. It has nearly everything you need to get you from here to your interview. Good luck and stay engaged with the process.

Because they are backed up with applications. From time to time, they update the USCIS timeline with their new adjudication timeline projections. This is normal occurrence. There is nothing that you can do but to go about your daily life till you are into next year. It's the state of things we find ourselves in now.

I noticed that too. I'm a May filer. It's very disheartening. Sorry you got so close to the service request date. That sucks.
