I received my passport yesterday, after 2 plus weeks after my interview. In Taiwan, that's considered a long wait.

My fiance had to write them an email and only then was my status changed to issued. I feel like they forgot about my case...

Anyway, I got my passport BUT my petitioner's name in the annotation part was misspelled.

So I guess I have to send it back and get it fixed. What a process!

My case switched to in-transit last Friday. Any idea how long it usually takes to say Ready?

Mine changed the day after it arrived at the Consulate. The PDF posted on page 1 of this thread will explain how to track the shipment. Yours should arrive much more quickly than mine did because it doesn't have to travel as far. The rest of the process depends primarily on how quickly you respond to the Welcome letter (packet 3), submit the DS-160 and then respond to the follow-up mail (packet 4). Best of luck to you :)

Fantastic!!  Great news for you both!

I have the exact same NOA2 date...... sadly my case still sits at NVC because the extreme lack of action in the Manila Embassy....... I have however, joined the class-action lawsuit for this region and look forward having it filed in the next few weeks..

Perhaps a silly question, but I'm very confused by the wording on the USCIS website regarding the filing of form I-134 Affidavit of Support.

Does the form (+supporting evidence) need to be submitted to USCIS prior to the K-1 interview? Or does my fiancé just need to bring a copy of the form to the embassy on the interview date?

Many thanks!
