Thank you! It seems we have similar timeline. I emailed the embassy in Montreal last week, but nothing useful was given. Basically more waiting time.

Starting to get really discouraged. It seems like the NVC will never send new cases to the consulate. They haven’t since the pandemic shut down back in March.

I had my medical on the 9th and the interview on the 10th. We are approved pending the results of the medical so a formal status of refused for right now. The medical report should arrive at the consulate early next week so will start refreshing the status page of the CEAC site from Tuesday or Wednesday next week :D

You're case is at the embassy, why are you waiting? Did you contact them? From my understanding once your case arrives at the embassy you can complete the DS160, pay the visa fee and schedule your interview.

Yes, but we have not been contacted by them yet. We have not received the P3 or anything yet, and on their website it says they are still closedl for majority visa types processing. I understood the embassy needs to send the P3 with the instructions and all that.

You should reach out to them. The fact that your file was sent from NVC means they are processing K-1 if they weren't your file would still be at NVC like the rest of us lol. Please call or email them ASAP don't wait on them to contact you.

That is not necessarily true. My case was sent to the embassy while they were not processing K1 visas. It arrived in November and I only heard from the embassy after getting approved as a plaintiff in Milligan

My status at CEAC was changed today to say it has been issued. Everything happened exactly as the Consulate said it would.

 

I so hope that everyone who is still waiting receives the same good news and that it arrives very soon. It's been such a long and difficult wait for all of us and I can't wait to come back and see the same, happy, updates from everyone in our group. ❤️
