Interview and medical on the same day

I’ve been expedite and trying to find interview date to book myself In. However for few days now, the available days doesn’t change. I’ve got my medical booked already, and only available interviews so far are on the same day or few days earlier.

Hence my question - is it okay to have interview on the same day? Or even few hours before medical?
i wouldn’t  want it to affect my timeline too much. Does it really put your visa on hold?

You could do it that way, but they can't approve your visa without the medical results. However if everything else is OK, they will keep your passport and wait for the medical results to arrive, for example this recent experience: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/750123-medical-not-at-interview—-refused/

The medical is sent electronically so if there are no problems it doesn't normally take too long to be sent across; I had my medical last Monday and the results were in by my interview time on the Thursday morning.

If you're doing it on the same day, just be sure to give yourself plenty of time for travelling between locations and waiting for each step at each appointment.

Thanks a lot!

I’m going to wait till next week just to see either other interview slots get open, hopefully they will. Otherwise I will just book it same day, or even book an interview  a day before.

How far do you live from London? Easy to go twice?

Move Medical up. They tend to be more flexible. Or even to the day before allows you to have plenty of time between appointments and an over night in London.

And what if other people snag those dates and you’re left with no interview slots? Don’t wait too long.

It’s because I could struggle with getting day off Work. I booked medical first and then starting hunting appointment date. I’ve got medical for Nov 4. It seems to me as they show free interview slots for next couple weeks as they don’t go further than first week of November right now ( about 4 different slots right now). so to be fair I’m hopping they will open slots For second week of November.

And yeah, I’m like 1.5h away for no issue with going twice. It’s just the fact is embassy doesn’t show any open slots other than last week of Oct and first week of Nov right now. But I hope it will change next week.

what happens if you have been given a visa appointment at the embassy, but cannot get a medical slot until a week after the appointment?    do we need to change the visa appointment?
