I received an automated email from the Embassy about half hour ago saying they have released documents to the courier, with a link to DX tracking. Apparently they will try and deliver it tomorrow! (I'm getting it sent to my work).

Ditto, I was approved on Wednesday and received an automated e-mail from the Embassy earlier today confirming the release of documents to the courier.

Yes, you should be fine. Our tracking says it’s available from today at the depot. My husband is picking up first thing tomorrow on his way to Heathrow so hopefully it’s there. You should be fine with 6 working days. Ours both took 3 working days or 5 calendar days!

Out of curiosity, did they provide the 'packet you're not supposed to open', along with the passport? I was wondering if they're still providing it, or if its moved all electronic.

No nothing else. Just passport and an information sheet. There is an annotation on the visa stating "IV docs in CCD" which I believe means everything is available electronically.

Did you upload documents and DQ at NVC?  Or did you take all your documents to the interview because of an expedite or something like that?  If the  latter,  then you had a paper file which would explain the envelope.

Oh yeah we skipped the NVC stage so it was all brought into the interview. Makes sense!

Hi all! A little nervous about the impending lockdown and its impact on getting my passport back...

Embassy interview and approved: Wednesday 28 October

Status to administrative processing: Monday 02 November (3 working days after interview)

Status to issued: Tuesday 03 November (1 working day after administrative processing)

Is it reasonable to expect an update from the courier, later today, so that I can collect my passport, tomorrow?

For reference: I selected to pickup from a nearby depot.

Thanks!
