It's OK to state that you love trump and indicate the reasons why you love him but that whole "..but but Obama did this..Biden did this..Hillary did this.." rhetoric is old and weird.

If you believe trump is such a great guy who is really making this country better why are you maga fanboys having such a hard time providing facts to back it. 

It keeps reinforcing the belief that the basis of that support is born out of fear. Fear of the world changing so rapidly - LGBTQ rights, racial equality, women empowerment etc. - and it scares the hell out of a lot of people because they feel the privilege they have historically had is slipping off underneath their feet. This is not so surprisingly hate groups have such a strong affinity to trump. He aligns with their ideals.

 

There's room for us all at the table. We are all human beings and deserve to be treated equal. No one should be treated different because they are black, white, gay, muslim or Jew.

I personally had no issues with trump winning the presidency in 2016. He was new and regardless of what anyone felt, I believed he deserved a chance. After all, he had some good messaging - putting America first which honestly resonated with a lot of people. After all, shouldn't the American people come first?

 

Fast forward to 4 years later and he's left the country worse off than what it was when he took over -  economy in a disaster, a pandemic he's shown clear ineptitude at managing, race relations worse off than has been in the past 20-30 years, no plans for healthcare, immigration etc.. It's just been lie & scandal one after the other.

 

So what is the making America great plan?? I only see someone who's making America worse.

Even better is the states shutting down things and then giving Trump credit for the economy.. I told people here + parodied lefties' desire to shut things down and pointed out how they'd turn around and blame Trump for it.

1 minute in and you can see how Trump described the people there to protest getting the statues taken down. There are also plenty of other quotes of Trump where he identifies the people there "protesting" and counterprotesting (the "fine people" on both sides), and those on both sides who were extremists there to fight. The people counter protesting them weren't protesting to "end white supremacy", they were protesting people protesting a statue being taken down. I do notice how funny it is how you paint things you disagree with, it just doesn't work.

What policies? You keep stating things and never providing any real substance to back it.

Cite some policies trump has put in place that have specifically addressed or improved the issues I mentioned - race relations, economy, rights & equality, the pandemic and all the worse things the country is going on now. I want facts. Don't just say "policies" and leave it at that.

I honestly don't think the people who tore down that statue had any idea who it represented and even if they did, I have no idea why.

I wouldn't tear that statue down. He's a good man. I would waste no time though tearing down the statue of Robert Lee statue - complete criminal and traitor.

No where in the world are traitors celebrated, except in some obscure parts of the US that refuse to get past the fact that they are hurt slavery was ended.
