A Black man who works for CNN backing Trump on policy? OMG, no wonder the threats are rolling in.. Jones statement flies in the face of a 4 year narrative CNN has been spoon feeding to the world for 4 years, that Trump is a racist, which most of us know is a LIE. 

 

CNN and MSNBC have an unspoken rule for it's contributors;  NEVER, EVER give Trump credit for anything,  When discussing the unemployment rate, claim it was due to Obama, When theirs peace in the world and news breaks of the UAE and Bahrain recognizing Israel, IGNORE it, it's a non subject.. Trump's "Right to Try" legislation? ignore that too, lives are only important when a Democrat does it... And if CNN absolutely must report on a story, always find the negative, anything to criticize the President with,  CNN has very creative minds, especially "Jeffrey Toobin",  when he's not masturbating on national TV.

 

For 2 years these two networks LIED to the world about Russian collusion, and refused to apologize for getting it WRONG when the Mueller report was released.. Fact is, Neutrality with these networks has been completely abandoned, it doesn't exist anymore, and when it does, in the case of Van Jones, the response is; "SHUT IT DOWN"  or degrade, humiliate and threaten that person on social media..  

 

CNN and MSNBC are NO longer news sources, they're propaganda networks, If you watch Russian State Media, it's not that different, that's where were headed and it should scare the c*ap out of everyone.

But that's not the question about confederate war statues.

How do you think black people feel when they see the folks to fought to keep them subjugated celebrated in the town square where they live? You wouldn't erect a monument to general Custer in the center of an Indian community.

Well I was responding to that person not you. They flat out said that the soldiers were racists and traitors.

As to the statues you are correct in some aspects in that many of the statues were put up during the Jim Crow era while many others were put up before that time period and just meant to commemorate the local soldiers that fought in said war.

Yep, the policies are what is focused on in the black community, not the media's and left's reimagining of what happened to where reinterpreted or cropped Trump sentences are meaningful over his actual policy changes the black President prior to him didn't bother making. I see a few blacks susceptible to the media as always, but it's a positive sign that they ignore the white lefty attacks, gaslighting, and malicious attempts to paint them as mentally ill or not black.

Many of the older generation could care less. I have people say "What has that statue done to me" often repeated. It's the younger crowd (my age) who are pushing for their removal as some kind of token response.

The point is, Van Jones gave Trump credit and was blasted by the left and MSM for doing so, just like they did with Kanye, making him out to be a nut job,  And recently we had  Don Lemon, calling out Ice Cube as a uneducated pawn who's being used by the Trump campaign.. Really?
