Hiiii everyone. I filed october 2019 and case is ready to be scheduled for interview since april 2020. No update yet. I am glad i am not alone but i become very impatient!!! 😭 

i just want my GC already

We had our interview in Sacramento today and it was two years and one month after we filed. The lady who interviewed us was professional and businesslike to start and then as we got into the discussion parts she began to smile and laugh with us. Not a lot of questions, just simple things like what is my birthday (sponsor), what were our step childrens names, and  how old they are. Asked for our proof and any records we wanted to submit and we turned over everything we had prepared. She said as long as the fingerprints matched the bio record she would recommend approval.  About an hour later it was approved and card was being produced. They were churning through people today. While we were in the waiting are there were about a dozen couples being called in about 5-10 minutes apart. Our interview was about 15 minutes total and I do think they’re back to cranking through more people this quarter. So if you’re getting close to the 2 year mark you should get your notifications soon. Also, for those of you worrying about a k1 medical aging out, they don’t. Ours was 27 months old and we were good. Good luck and I’ll continue to check in to answer any questions that you may have and I can answer. Be safe!

Hi and congratulations! I filed in August 2020 in Sacramento. The wait has been very long. Do you know what I interviews they are scheduling now?

Sacramento filer here. I filed October 2019 and last november 26 they scheduled my interview. My interview will be on Dec 29. Wish me luck. You will gonna get your interview soon. 🙏🏻

Like @GetOutside wish I could be assigned to Reno, I'm half way between both Reno and Sac, but it would be an excuse for a little time away and perhaps play some cards 😅

I’m the creator of this thread and applied in January 2020 - still waiting in ‘ready to be scheduled for an interview’ and hoping for an interview in the new year!

I had my interview this morning here in sacramento. Our interview went well and the IO said that we’re really got prepared for the interview lol.  He just ask simple questions like how did we meet, our birthday together, wedding date and the yes or no question in the I-485 form.  He got me approve right away and he said wait for the green card in 2-3 weeks.

Congratulations! Great to hear that interviews are actually happening in Sacramento. If you don’t mind me asking, how did you compile the documentation needed for the interview - did you use a list online? I’m trying to get prepared - it seems to be originals of everything ever submitted for the I-485 application, EAD cards, NOA notices, evidence of relationship, etc?

Hi, any update on your case? I am also a January 2020 Sacramento filer. Been ‘ready to schedule interview’ since June 2020 - no update since then…
