No, even before then. You don’t start drilling with your respective unit until after you finish BCT and AIT. RSP is before BCT and AIT and it is not with your respective unit.

Ok, after looking at this then this is basically what happened when I was in. They just called it something diffrerent then because you could actually drill with your respective unit back then.

Trying this too,  I think I need my plastic green card tho. I only have the stamp as of right now.

Cause theres no other thread I'll say this now in case anyone else comes into the USA and wonders this too;

Went into the recruiters yesterday. They said the stamp was fine all they needed was the registration number on your i-551 to verify that you're legally here. I told him my plastic one is coming soon, told the chief at the station the same and they made a call and they were told it was good. Going to MEPs next Wednesday!

Gotta get a waiver... recruiter said it'll take like 2 weeks then I'll get rescheduled for MEPS, he said it's fine anyway cause going to MEPS with the i-551 stamp could be risky...

But take it in mind how easy it is. I walked into the recruiters office and I was scheduled in 3 hours lol

Thats funny.. especially after the fact that the house just voted to legalize marijuana. I hope you get the waiver with no problems. By the time youre finished with the whole process theres a chance it could be legal federally lol.

Per the sentence you shared, can still naturalize in that case: "and may be naturalized without the removal of conditions from their permanent resident status."

Would still be LPR after 2-year GC expires. Only an Immigration Judge can revoke LPR status.

But the LPR wouldn't have proof of that status.

You go to MEPS and get a ship-date yet bro? I signed my contract for the Navy yesterday, shipping in March.
