Sent an expedite letter last week and got this unfortunate response. Is this a denial? I am a medical frontliner in the US and my fiance is also one in the Philippines as well and was my reason for expedite request. May i know anyone who got the same response? May i know anyone who got denied too and may i know their (NVC) reply.

As the letter says, K1 expedite is only valid during the USCIS approval stage.  Unlike spouse visas, there is no review process to "expedite" at the NVC or Embassy stage.

The issue is that the embassy is not processing K1 visas at all.  There is a mechanism to request emergency processing if the case fits national interest.

In your case, there is no national interest exemption because you are the medical frontliner and you are already working in the US.  And even though your fiance is also a medical frontliner, K1 applicants cannot work in the US until after marriage and EAD approval, which takes 6 months or more.

what is the reason for your expedite ? if its not really expedited they wont consider it. this most likely is a denial to even accept expedited for your case

Have you followed what the embassy web site states? There is a certain email address you send your request and not to the "general" email box.

He wouldn't be able to work for 6-8 months on a K-1 anyway, so the rationale for expediting doesn't work unfortunately.

So US Qualified?

Why a K1 which has such a long wait to be able to work?

No. Licensed professional in my country Philippines

That would explain it.
