In retrospect, not only do the documents appear to be authentic, but a Daily Beast report Thursday notes evidence that the Hunter Biden investigation was hiding in plain sight. One of the FBI documents from the laptop published by the Post “included a case number that had the code associated with an ongoing federal money laundering investigation in Delaware, according to several law enforcement officials who reviewed the document. Another document — one with a grand jury subpoena number — appeared to show the initials of two assistant U.S. attorneys linked to the Wilmington, Delaware, office.” Hunter Biden claims he only learned of the  investigation this past week, but these documents suggest otherwise.

Even a cursory inquiry by the New York Post’s competitors would have confirmed that Biden was under federal investigation. One journalist did behave like a reporter. In late October, Sinclair Broadcast Group correspondent James Rosen reported that Hunter Biden was under active investigation and a Justice Department official confirmed his scoop. Almost without exception, America’s press corps refused to follow up on Rosen’s revelation — or even report it.

It’s bad enough that the allegations were ignored, but the media response to the story was far worse. Without making any meaningful attempts to independently verify any of the details, they immediately asserted that Hunter Biden’s laptop was part of a “Russian disinformation” campaign.

Now you see why I never back down. Why would it shame the media or left.. the entire campaign on Hunter was to deceive and gaslight until they got their way, upon which there's little hope of accountability. The actual problem here were those who listened to either, over rationality. It's quite amazing the kind of ridiculous stuff peer pressure can make people do and believe.

I don't know if Biden's involvement with the Chinese was inappropriate or not, but the headline is misleading. From the story: "Correspondence between Hunter Biden and CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming from 2017 shows President-elect Joe Biden's son extending "best wishes from the entire Biden family," and urging the chairman to "quickly" send a $10 million wire to "properly fund and operate" the Biden joint venture with the now-bankrupt Chinese energy company."

 

So Biden is a partner, and he's asking another partner to send $10M for funding. That Biden was involved in a Chinese energy company perhaps bears investigation. That a partner asked another partner for funds to "properly fund and operate" their joint company seems like a normal thing you would do in a business.

 

I've said before, Hunter Biden's business dealings bear investigating. Lock him up if he's guilty of something. But this seems weak to me.

You can get with the headline writers if you don't like how they write them.

 

As to the Bidens, who knows, but I believe it deserves a special prosecutor to determine how Joe's business was conducted.  I could not care less about Hunter, there are people like him all over the place.

Hmm, I guess Old Joe is caught in another big lie.  Didn't he tell everyone that he had no knowledge of his son's shady business dealings?  I guess it is OK for a sitting VeeP with responsibilities specific to the Ukraine to support his son's business as long as there is a "D" after his name.

The next day, Hunter received an email from Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, to thank him for introducing him to his father.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together,” Pozharskyi wrote on April 17, 2015.

I think we need to see if Hunter is guilty of elder abuse considering Old Joe has no memories of this meeting.
