  They released this now for a reason. The allegations hurt Biden's chances of getting elected but there is not enough time for the actual investigation results to be released. This is straight out of Bannon's playbook. He should have at least tried to come up with something we haven't all seen before.

I agree with that assessment relative to the WSJ's editorial board, but their news division has been trending leftward over the past 10 plus years.

  It's only a big question if you think they actually care what Hunter Biden did, and not how they can make people think that Joe Biden is involved somehow. An investigation will answer that question definitively. We went through this same scenario prior to the 2016 election. Bannon and Giuliani know exactly what they are doing. The problem they have is this time everyone else knows too. The alt right alt news network needs to come up with something new..

Again, it is DC, whether an investigation is happening or not, nothing will come of it even if there was wrongdoing.  I have completely lost trust with the career politicians on both sides as well as the career bureaucrats that could not care less about the country or the people, but rather what they can get out of their positions.  Joe is smart, and as the business associate has said, the Biden’s took great pains to keep the paper trail back to him non-existent, beyond that these folks become very forgetful if they are ever pressed.

That Senate investigation didn't have any of this evidence, so people pretending its nothing are doing so simply because they want it to go away. It isn't. 

 

If they were thorough in their job and even remotely trustworthy to begin with they might have had people like this come forward to them back then.

  I'm saying if there was anything on the laptop tying Joe Biden to illegal activity, they should have released it to the senate committee that was actually investigating Joe Biden before they reached the conclusion that Joe Biden didn't do anything illegal.

The media and social media's attempt to deep six this story (the Post has been locked out of both Twitter and FB for 10 days and counting pending "fact checks" not done for anyone else) hasn't worked, only resulted in both a Streisand effect and more traffic to places like Breitbart, the Post (website), etc.
