I am a USC. Submitted the I130 packet for my stepdaughter. Was received July 7th 2020.
My wife is a green card holder. Anyone have any real-time information on time lines we are looking at?  From past experience when my wife can over on a K1 and her AOS the time lines were always way off. She got her visa in 6 months and her green card from the AOS in less than 6 months. Thank you all

Pandemic has made timelines from petition submission to visa unpredictable

YMMV

She’s 12 years old. Well under aging out

You don't have to respond - everyone's situation is different.  But usually  fiance's children immigrate together with the fiance as K2.

It's a bit of a roll of the dice, actually.  Because of the suspension of other visa's, IR2 visa's are priorities at NVC, but by the time your application gets approved by USCIS the other categories might open up (at the end of the year).   So, if your petition gets approved soon, then there is a good chance you'll get DQ'd at the NVC stage by the end of the year.

I wish you and your family a speedy process.

Thanks. Not at all worried or concerned with a DQ. Just trying to figure out if it’ll be 6 month or 8.
and your right kids can come with the fiancé on her K2. We wanted to wait so that’s it.
