Does yours include parental information?

You don't get extra credit for proving something twice

Only my parents' names

Parents names constitutes parental information

For proof of citizenship only the passport ID page.  All pages requirement was eliminated over 3 years ago

Okay thank you. And if my passport is valid for another year and was issued with a period validity for 10 years then it meets the requirements correct?

I'm about to send in the I-129F.

Reading online I see that people have been given RFEs for sending in their short form birth certificates instead of their long form versions. I'm nervous mine is a short-form birth certificate.

why would you send the short format . They always want the long format. Expect an RFE if you send Short version

duh

I can send both the copy of the birth certificate and passport just to be sure, correct?

I didn't do K1, but with my docs I sent copy of short form birth certificated and copy of passport info page since I was sending passport stamps anyway and that was accepted.

Is there any issue with sending passport stamps from an expired passport? My beneficiary recently got a new passport about six months ago

US passport pages are not serialized, so no issue

YMMV

They would be from my fiancé's Mexican passport, any difference?

If it is serialized,  then include the ID page as well

With all the damn research I did (and on the USCIS website it just says birth certificate!!!!), I sent my fiancè's short form birth certificate. It was all he had, and I didn't even know there was a difference. Can't wait for our RFE. So annoyed 😢

I know, it's the petitioner's birth certificate I'm talking about (I'm the beneficiary). I compiled most of the packet but with his help. At least I'm pretty sure I sent the short form as it's all he ever got as far as we're aware erghh

Does the BC have parental information?  Did you send the ID page of the passport by chance?

YMMV
