Uae resident. We are CR1, but since 2 years already passed while waiting we should be IR1 now.

That's very strange, most CR1/IR1 uae residents seem to be around 6 months from DQ. What's your nationality?

That is indeed strange...... Are you a US citizen residing in UAE waiting for your spouse's interview date?

 

I have a feeling 6-9 months is a normal timeframe moving forward till the backlog is resolved. No comment on wait times for people that were DQ's during pandemic. Also this is regarding the CR1/IR1 visa categories. For all other categories there seems to be an even longer wait time.

No, I am a US citizen but I am still living in the US. At the moment I have to stay here due to work and university. So we are living separately, I go visit every few months.

I'm also applying for EB3 visa DQ Dec21, resident in UAE but my work is not in within the healthcare workers. Not sure if type of work, nationality might impact timeline.

I think that's quite normal, you'll have to keep checking. And if you see an open spot grab it, and then keep looking for an earlier opportunity!

Did you expedite your case? What's your visa category and pd/dq dates?

Could you send me the link as well please? DQ and waiting for visa interview but no idea when to expect. Any idea which dq dates are getting interview letters recently? Seems like it should be in 2022 by now.

Hi, I sent you a message directly, please share the telegram channel, thnx.
Also for IR-5 the wait time is definitley more than a year, unless it changes in the future. My documentarily qualified date is June/2021 and still waiting for IL, I know someone with DQ date of Nov/2020 and still waiting for IL....
