@Ali1975 I’ve seen on Facebook groups that a lot of people from April DQ got their IL in September. They also said if you’re a UAE resident that you will get an interview faster. I’m curious if anyone else here has heard this.

Hi, can you please share the facebook group if there's a main one, thanks

I'm not sure they process UAE residents faster, I'm a resident DQ'd EB3 since July, 2021 so is my friend who has been DQ'd since June, 2021 & we're still waiting. Just receiving the 60 days letter regularly. They say it's a first in first out with 4 priorities to process in the following order:

  • Tier One: Immediate relative intercountry adoption visas, age-out cases (cases where the applicant will soon no longer qualify due to their age), certain Special Immigrant Visas (SQ and SI for Afghan and Iraqi nationals working with the U.S. government), and emergency cases as determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Tier Two:  Immediate relative visas; fiancé(e) visas; and returning resident visas

  • Tier Three: Family preference immigrant visas and SE Special Immigrant Visas for certain employees of the U.S. government abroad

  • Tier Four: All other immigrant visas, including employment preference and diversity visas

From October 2020 to October 2021 they just issued 10 EB3 (EBW) visas so I presume the waiting time for our category is more like 8-12 months unfortunately.

Anyhow, appreciate if we keep updating once anyone received there IL while mentioning their DQ date at least we can get some estimate of the movement in general.

Please read page 29 ,I am optimistic and hoping so it would be FIFO  ! but hard to believe that though !
