Hello,

 

I would really appreciate if immigrant visa applicants( ir cr1) who received interview letters in 2021 or waiting for interview in Abu Dhabi would share their DQ date. I am trying to have an idea of wait time. Mine is 21 may 2021.

My wife has been DQd since October 2020, she's a resident of iraq. Has anyone had an interview yet who's also from a third party country?

I'm DQ since July 2021 and have a friend who's DQ since June 2021, he just received his 60 days letter notice which we should be receiving every 60 days until interview is scheduled. Anyone, from May 2021 got interview date?

My friend and I are on EB3 employment visa - looks like the lead time for appointments is around 1 year ?!! If anyone in the group with DQ before June, 2021 had an interview scheduled appreciate sharing to estimate waiting time.

Yes, still waiting. There are also other Dq'd since March 2020 (EB-3) and yet, still waiting for IL/ID.

Wow, that's pretty disappointing, I thought it would be 3-4 months like what NVC website says. Do you happen to know anyone on this forum who is EB3 and had an ID in 2021?

Data tells us that eventhough the gap between the DQ dates are large, they all gather up closer in ragard to interview date.

 

So with this limited data we can say that users with DQ dates roughly around MAY-JUNE-JULY  got their Interview dates in January and AUGUST-SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER got their Interview dates in February.

That is not so correct to make a assumption witht his limited data however if we need to, we may say DQ dates of (OCTOBER)-NOVEMBER-DECEMBER-(JANUARY) may expect their interview to be scheduled for March if Embassy is working at this time same as previous months and if the actual applicants do not significantly differ and loaded for this months. (october and january is in brackets because october partially might not got their interview in February and thus january might not get partially in March as it is hard to go to a conclusion with limited data if all october DQs got visa appointment in February. At the end, this is a blind game:)

 

If we had more users uses VJ and everybody updates their Timeline, we would have a much better picture.

 

Please let me know if you have any further information regarding the workload if AD embassy or any further information of October DQs.

"The Department recently clarified guidance on emergency cases.  Recognizing the emergence of the COVID Delta variant and the continued demand for healthcare professionals during the pandemic, U.S. embassies and consulates were instructed that they may prioritize as emergencies on a case-by-case basis the immigrant visa cases of certain healthcare professionals who will work at a facility engaged in pandemic response.  Healthcare professionals who will work at a facility engaged in pandemic response and have an approved U.S. immigrant visa petition with a current priority date for an Immediate Relative, Family Preference, or Employment-Based Preference case may review the website of their nearest U.S. embassy or consulate for procedures to request an emergency visa appointment.  If the case is being processed at the National Visa Center (NVC), the applicant may request expedited processing by emailing NVCExpedite@state.gov, including the case or receipt number on the subject line, along with at least one of the following: (1) petitioner’s name and date of birth, (2) beneficiary’s name and date of birth, and/or (3) invoice ID number.  Applicants should be prepared to show that they will be employed in the healthcare industry at a U.S. facility engaged in pandemic response.  Resource constraints and local government restrictions may limit the ability of some U.S. embassies and consulates to process emergency visas at this time."
