hi everyone,

my wife interview was yesterday, the interview wen well and they provided her rights in USA but the officer say that cant process the visa because is missing the English translation of her birth certificate, marriage certificated, and UAE police clearance! they give her 221G  and say that we need to upload this in our ceac account and send email to notified that we did the updated, and say that after that she well need to send her passport vie empost for completing the application, we was very exited but mistake of the lawyer put us in this situation!! ant suggest or if someone that had the same issue can advise what's next and how can overcome this really helps . thank you

Hey, it looks like the documents should be translated(certified) to English. Make sure to provide all what the counslar officer required of you.

Most police certificates has expiration dates, make sure the police certificate is up to date as well.

thank you so much! is just crazy that all the documents are in arabic and even say in that link that if the documents are in the official language where the interview is gonna be conduc its ok! and another think is how nvc approve us and not having the translation 😔

I am amazed NVC did not tell you to translate your documents. Well, good luck with everything now!

Yes it does, except for the countries having restrictions to inter UAE these days due to COVID-19. For example: Iran , Iraq,Indian and Pakistan.

That should be an easy fix, some translators in the UAE are able to translate the paper the same day you give it to them so they can hand them back to you quick. For the police clearance I believe in the UAE you are able to request it in English directly from the police, we did that so we wouldn't worry about translating it. 

Also, seemes like they extended it if anyone's is starting to get close.

finally today we receive email from embassy that they accept the document they request and we can send our paspport via empost just today 🥰  thank you for your advise!
