By the grace of God visa got approved. It only took one hour and 45 minutes. Only plastic cover was allowed. First security checked got token number 3 and fingerprint and gave birth/marriage/police certificates medical records and 1 photo to a counter then called the number. Questions are how we met, when was our marriage, what i am doing here, where in the U.S my spouse is, where are we planning to stay in US(alone or with parents) and then he took the passport for Visa. 

Are transparent folders at the gate? Or everything should be in a clear plastic bag?

The folder with your documents should be in the plastic bag no bags are allowed

Oh okay, i actually had a clear folder with pockets for the documents. Do they care if the back of the folder is made from semi hard material? It would be great if you could attach a photo describing it

Hello all,

 

I finished my medical check up on Saturday and it was a last piece for my interview preparation.

I recommend you to go for medical check up on weekdays, it was so crowded on Saturday. I spent 4.5 hours in the Deira hospital. At the end they asked me to do a flu vaccine, but if you have had a covid vaccine, then the flu vaccine will be possible to do in 30 days only and vs. Make sure to prepare all the vaccination records. if you do not have it, you can go to any GP (prior medical check up day) in any clinic and ask to do anybody tests for the required vaccines (normally it is covered by insurance), otherwise you have to do 3-4 shots of different vaccines after medical check  I saw some people do.

Dear All,

Could any one advise for the below NVC status unfortunatley they didnt called any of the pending dates in October and just pounced to November. Does any one in the dates of October 15, 20 and 25th have recieved the invitaition letter if please update with the status, whereas do any one recieved NVC interview other than the specified dates as above if recieved please update in return.

 

Current case review time: As of 1-FEB-2021, we are reviewing documents submitted to us on 4-NOV-2020. Please note, as result of April 22, 2020 Presidential Proclamation, we are reviewing documents for cases not subject to the travel restrictions first.

Dear , 

this means they are reviewing the documents submitted on that date or before . This is for application waiting for DQ not interview. You already passed that stage and there is no timeline for people who are DQ and waiting for the interview.

Noted not the interview date apologies for the typo error i mean regarding the DQ dates. My DQ was on October 5th very peculiar to know that the NVC has jumped to November. Its ok pal i understand  need to wait very hard to guess cannot estimate anything.

Waiting is hard man . We all in the same boat . There some people from September also waiting. Just keep it up until it comes . Feeling anxious will not get you there.

By the grace of Allah my visa is approved today in interview and he kept my passport but when I checked the Ceac status now it is showing administrative process...Is it normal or no?

Yes it showed administrative processing for one day and then issued

Don’t worry, i know people that had their interviews scheduled and their DQs were till early September.  You will most probably get the interview very soon. If not feb then march but very soon.
