Wait for them to come back to you and then send your passport via Empost. I was instructed at the interview to submit my passport at Empost, hence I did it at the same time. You should wait, i believe, until asked by the embassy.

I did send a follow up email to the embassy email address asking for an update. I guess it’ll be good that you send a follow up email as well asking when can you submit your passport.

submitting passport at Empost is straightforward. The empost guy helped us out in this. We have to print a document from the link https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ae/iv. Follow steps. You will click on submit additional documents, print and give it to Empost along with your passport.

So quick question? Right after the interview do they take your passport to stamp the visa or do they tell you go to empost and mail it in and then stamp the visa and return it back to you?

Hi everyone!

We are also waiting for an interview date. We were DQ in August, however have not received an interview when others got theirs scheduled last week. I saw people with DQs in October even getting interviews :( I don't know why we didn't get scheduled but I am assuming they have scheduled all the interviews for Feb already,  so I guess we have to wait another month.

I even called NVC in order to double check our status as I started to become paranoid that we mistakenly thought we were DQ (even though we got the email and I confirmed it on the phone).

They can take your passport right there if all documents are in place. Since he wanted me to upload/mail missing documents, and since he had already seen hard copies of each, he asked me to mail my passport via empost once i have uploaded the documents.

They mail you back the passport via Empost with the stamped visa

Can anybody help me to guide if we can store our cell phones before interview at  abu dhabi consulate or no?

They will take it from you at the entrance and return it when you are leaving.
