I filed for my marriage based green card in Florida April of this year. I was told I would receive a biometric appointment within 90 days of the office re opening. It will be 90 days tomorrow as it reopened in July. I was told to call USCIS if I had not received it by today. I have been trying to call USCIS but I cannot get passed the automated person to a live agent.

Any advice? Or, is anyone having a similar issue?

Thanks

I would try on Emma and type 'speak to live representative' - I have found that works in the past.

My advice would be to keep calling like it's your full time job or just wait because it will come. Our cousin filed in February, his March biometrics appt got cancelled, application support center opened up in June or July and he only got called for his biometrics 2 weeks ago! I never heard of anyone being quoted a biometric appt would be assigned within 90 days btw (not saying this isn't true.. just something I haven't come across)

They opened in July with a 4 month backlog at reduced capacity.   They have not hit the 90 days since before the pandemic.   They initially prioritized naturalization appointments.   Some ASCs have gotten to other application types

YMMV
