Expedite EAD with job offer?

For AOS—— I’ve  come across topics and articles that say you can expedite EAD if you have a job offer and if your biometrics are done? I wanted to know if that’s the case and also I’m wondering if companies are willing to hire someone without a work permit and if they do then what do you tell them to get the offer letter? Thanks.

companies cant hire you without EAD. they can offer you a position and wait for your EAD approval. basically without EAD you cant be on payroll but job offer can be made

You can request an expedite for the EAD with a written job offer.

 

A company can not hire you without an EAD in hand.  They can offer you a job and write a letter to facilitate an EAD expedite request.  Once you have your EAD, then they can hire you.

I’ve yet to submit my AOS paperwork. Planning to over the next week due to it taking longer to get all the documents together than expected. With that being said I’ve been offered a position due to begin in July 2021. I know I’m cutting it fine now considering I haven’t sent my AOS paperwork yet but can I ask for my EAD to be expedited in the original AOS form? Is there another form I can fill in to send with the AOS?

 

Or do I have to wait until they receive my paperwork? And then send a form? Any help with ensuring I could get my EAD before my employment start date would be awesome because I really want this position. I will be sad if my EAD doesn’t come back in time because I know I am not allowed to work until it does.

I believe you cannot ask for an expedite until after you’ve done your biometrics, and biometrics can’t be expedited.
