Electronic Forms - not allowing me to fill in

Hello all,

Does anyone have any tips when filling out the electronic version of I-129F? It seems that even though I check the correct box in an area, it does not allow me to fill in the next part.

Any assistance would be great. I would hate to submit halfway electronically completed and halfway written in. 😆

Is the next part not applicable based on the previous answer?

YMMV

@Greenbaum Yes, I think this is the same. I just tried and it still won't let me. Try to check "yes" for #34....then try to fill out #35. Does it work for you? I am hoping it is not just a MacBook issue 😞

Same with #43 & #44...

Part 2, i am guessing.  If you answer yes to 34 it doesn't allow you to enter anything?  If that is the situation then hand write it.

YMMV

I had this issue too using Acrobat. The thing about fillable forms is they have to be done a certain way when created and sometimes people or computers miss these things when creating them. I have had trouble for years with various parts of PDFs not functioning properly. I had similar issues when filling out my 129. I have GoodNotes on my iPad and it allows you to edit/fill any part of a PDF regardless of whether or not it was designed correctly. I used it to complete my 129 and had no more issues.

They suggest to use Acrobat but unfortunately in a lot of spaces it doesn’t let you fill it, so we used Microsoft Edge, you just need to print it from Edge and try to not open it in Acrobat after that.
