StaGor, is there any updates on your case? I saw on Statistics that USA embassy in Kyiv issued 41 visas in April 2021. It’s also include couple of weeks of shot down. I’m wondering what month of DQ cases received  their IL for May or June 2021.
Did you here anything?

We got DQ in August 2020. NVC saying “in a line for interview scheduling”.  But nobody knows how long to wait more and what month they sent to embassy already.

That wait just unbelievable.
Any info will be helpful.
Thank you.

I sent nvc June 20, 2021 and are still waiting for an answer :( what to do?

It’s ok… at least you tried to help me… as you noticed it is an immigrant visa… by the way congratulations on your visa … speedy in Paraguay….

Thanks.  At this point, its dependent on the embassy you are dealing with.  Paraguay doesnt have the volume compared to other countries, so definitely faster than most.

I see you filed for K-1… not familiar with this type of visa…. maybe it’s for fiancé?! But I see you were waiting 15 months to get DQ … but as soon as you DQed , everything else went quickly thank God…. My father will have interview in Abu Dhabi… there is no info from embassy, they answered no particular timeframe when I inquired them by email… NVC also says it depends to Abu Dhabi, avoiding to give any timeframe… my only option is to shop around internet to find people requesting IR-5 from Abu Dhabi asking from their experience as you … but not anyone yet from that area is active here yet!!

Yes, K-1 was for spouse, we are past that.

We filed for IR-5 visa for mother.  At this point, you need to be patient.  This process is just that, a process.  You were DQ in 7 months.  Our DQ took 14 months.  Hopefully you find someone from Abu Dhabi that can give you insight, once it goes to each respective embassy, cant compare to other people from different embassies.

Good luck.

Thank you… oh … so you brought your mom or mother in law in 16 months process through IR-5 totally?! That is awesome… almost like “pre-pandemic era” … Paraguay is like Paris for IR-5 people!!

my DQ took 7 months… you are right … but I made few mistakes while I was filling up forms , otherwise it should take ONLY 2-3 months for that part according to my investigation… but this interview part as you said is out of our hands… I asked for expedite though… still waiting on that too!
