checks not cashed yet.

My wife and daughters AOS applications were received on June 11th at Chicago Lockbox and the checks haven't checked yet. i noticed on most timelines NOA is received in about a week. I called the NCSC number but it was no help. does anyone know a way I can check to find out what's happening?

We sent our AoS package out June 15th, they signed for the package June 18th, and they have not yet sent us a NoA or cashed our checks either. It's quite irritating to have that much money in checks out, so I know how you must be feeling, but I think all we can really do is be patient.

They can be kind of slow. Hang in there, it'll be cashed soon.

Thanks leney and misa. I'm used to waiting when going thru the petition and visa process. kind of frustrating when no way to check what's going on. the NCSC number says to allow up to 4 weeks. guess nothing to do but wait... harder for my wife. she's not used to not being able to work for such a long period of time.

Doh, having just said this yesterday - Today, Homeland Security has cashed all 3 checks. The irony is definitely not lost on me Never been happier to see that amount of money disappear from our checking account.

me too. never thought I'd be dancing by seeing checking acount balance go down. checks are cashed for my wife's AOS and EAD.
