Extending the Green Card Extension Letter

Hello All,

My husband has a conditional green card which expired on July 08, 2019. We filed to remove conditions last summer, and we got a letter that extended his green card for 18 months, so that would be until January 8, 2021. It doesn't look like his ROC will be approved any time soon, and we're now within three months of the new expiration date. What is the process for getting a new extension letter? My husband will likely be traveling outside of the country, so he needs proof of his current PR status so that he won't have any issues at the airport. Do we need an infopass appointment? Are infopass appointments even being done right now with Covid?

Thank you!

There is no new extension letter. A month before the 18 months extension expired, you need to contact USCIS to schedule an appointment for a stamp in passport for international travel.
