:help::help:Disregard first post.. SORRY..

Okay, we filed in June 2006 under CR-1 .. We completed all paperwork(s) he had his interview in March of 2007. After his interview he was placed under Admin Processing.

Today, after beening on AP since March of 2007 I called the Visa Specialist in D.C.

She stated that all reports (clearance reports) have been completed in D.C and have been sent to Pakistan Embassy. She said its not up to the Embassy to see what will happen next... Based on the reports I am sure... (making sure no hits ect)

So, my question is.. what happens next? am I done? will they require a SECOND INTERVIEW? I just dont know if i should become HAPPY YET!

Thanks

Lilah

I already posted in your other thread.

Contact the embassy.

I was told by a " visa specialist" at DOS in January that the AP was complete. However that was false information as the embassy verified our case is still under AP.

You may have a 2. interview or will be asked to mail the passport without an interview.

Be proactive and ask the embassy, don't wait around for them to contact you.

Best wishes !

As everyone mentioned, you should contact the Embassy. Usually Embassy contacts the visa applicant to bring his passport so that they can issue his visa. So make sure, your husband is aware of the fact that the Embassy may call him. Good Luck! It seems to be the good news is on the horizon.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
