Hi,

I'm so confused as to what to put for question 38:

I intend or do not intend (have to select one) to make specific contributions to the support of the person named in Part 2. If you select intend specify the exact nature and duration of the contributions in Part 7.

You presumably do NOT intend to make specific contributions, as you're applying for a K1. You'll be making non-specific contributions I'd imagine, as and when needed.

We ticked 'not intend' and wrote 'not applicable - K1' next to it.

The "specific contributions" question is irrelevant for K-1s. It really doesn't matter what you answer it with, though the most correct answer is probably 'do not intent' and then writing 'not applicable-K-1' in the additional information section.
