Need attorney experienced with Moroccan consulates

Hi everyone!

 

My fiancé and I are trying to decide between applying for the K1 or CR1 visa and my fiancé would like us to consult an American attorney (in the U.S.) who has experience with Moroccan consulates and successfully helping couples navigate K1 and CR1.  I know that we don't need an attorney to fill out the forms and even to complete the process but we would just like a consultation with one so they can weigh in on our  decision between K1 and CR1.  Does anyone have a recommendation?

Every couple has their own priorities, and each couple must decide which visa is better for their situation.

K-1     
    More expensive than CR-1    
    Requires Adjustment of Status after marriage (expensive and requires a lot of paperwork)    
    Spouse can not leave the US until she/he receives approved Advance Parole (approx 5-6 months)    
    Spouse can not work until she/he receives EAD (approx 5-6 months)    
    Some people have had problems with driver licenses, Social Security cards, leases, bank account during this period    
    Spouse will not receive Green Card for many months after Adjustment of Status is filed.
    A denied K-1 is sent back to USCIS to expire
  

CR-1    

    Less expensive than K-1    
    No Adjustment of Status(I-485, I-131, I-765) required.    
    Spouse can immediately travel outside the US    
    Spouse is authorized to work immediately upon arrival.    
    Spouse receives Social Security Card and Green Card within 2 or 3 weeks after entering the US    
    Opening a bank account, getting a driver's license, etc. are very easily accomplished with GC, SS card, and passport.

    Spouse has legal permanent Resident status IMMEDIATELY upon entry to US.

not many with experience with Morocco

best you can get is one that has dealt with ANY high fraud country 

but seriously,  attorney fills out the application and copies and sends your documents

they do not help with the interview or do any work you can't do yourself and they have no advice unless you have criminal issues , for example, and need a waiver/ otherwise they can not advise on the Casa embassy 

If your fiancee wants to talk to any of us that have dealt with Morocco,, send a personal message and we can give you whatsapp or other ways to talk to us

as we have dealt with the culture norms and questions asked by CO

Keep in mind, no matter if you lawyer up or not,   the lawyer cant do anything about AP, its basically automatic.  They (to me) only lick the stamp to send the petition.   You can do this yourself.

 

Use the lawyer money on a trip there again.
