The embassy finally sent my interview appointment email! Whew!!!! Nov. 4th so I only have 10 days notice. Hopefully after I get the medical exam tomorrow, it'll be delivered in time to the embassy

How did anyone go about expediting with thier case at the NVC? I tried my consolate and got a generic email about needing to expedite at the NVC, then sent to the NVC and got a generic email about about K-1 visas already expedited.

Edit: I 'm sorry, this thread is in reference to IR/CR1 visas. My Apologies.

Hello everyone,

The us embassy in Bahrain has accepted my expedite request and NVC told me that they were immediately sending my file to the embassy. It's been 4 days and on the CEAC tracker i can see that my case is still at NVC and not in transit. How long does it usually take to be in transit? TIA

Did you send an email to nvc regarding expediting the process?

or us embassy?
guide me through it

im an applicant
