Hello everyone,

The us embassy in Bahrain has accepted my expedite request and NVC told me that they were immediately sending my file to the embassy. It's been 4 days and on the CEAC tracker i can see that my case is still at NVC and not in transit. How long does it usually take to be in transit? TIA

Hello Federica

can you tell me what you put in your expedite letter just to convince them?please your experience will help

Update: my status changed yesterday from 'at NVC' to 'IN TRANSIT' and then on the same day to 'READY'. I have my interview next Thursday!! So just keep checking on the CEAC tracker! Good luck!

Hello Federica. Has the embassy in your country resumed routine visa services? I still have not received the interview appointment  letter from the embassy and I'm wondering if it's because they haven't resumed routine Visa interviews.

Hi! My country has resumed visa services for priority visas like spousal visas since September. Anyway I suggest you to just email your embassy and ask them about it

Thanks for the response. I emailed them and got a response saying immigrant visa services  are suspended since March. I don't know if it's a generic mail or not

Hi, do you mind me asking either it was upcoming PSCing or something else? We’ve sent an expedite request due to PSCing but still awaiting decision. It’s been  just over a week since we got request acknowledgment email.

How far in future is your PCSing? We’re meant to be pcsing in February, so don’t have actual orders yet. But visa interview are taking about 4-5mints after DQ here in England. We’ve attached current assignment expire date, Deros and letter from my husband superior. Hoping for good outcome 🤞🏼

We're PCSing this December, anyway hopefully they'll accept your expedite. It looks like you've got enough proof 🙏

anyone from expedite folks is able to say how much notice they’ve had for interview? Still need to make a medical appointment and just wondering either I should do it now whilst I’m waiting for the interview date.

Congrats!!! I think it depends largely on your embassy. I got my expedite approval on October 10 but have still not heard from the embassy.

Oh I see. We just got approval email this morning so I think I’m going to wait few days to see if I hear from the embassy. My case status still shows NVC.
